Application Process

• Finalizing the Investment

  The first step is to make the required investment (real estate purchase, capital investment, etc.) in Greece. Submission of the application. Applicants should choose their preferred investment option from real estate or other qualifying investments.

• Submission of Application

  The application must be submitted to the Greek authorities, including all necessary documents (proof of investment, clean criminal record, health insurance, etc.).After submitting the application, the applicant must visit Greece to submit biometrics data. Once this is done, a residency permit is issued, which is valid for 5 years and renewable thereafter.

• Residency Renewal

  The permit can be renewed every 5 years as long as the investment is maintained and the applicant meets other program requirements. The residence permit also applies to the applicant’s family, including spouse, children under 21, and parents of the main applicant and spouse.

• Renewals and Permanent Residency

  The residence permit can be renewed every five years, as long as the qualifying investment is maintained. Applicants are eligible to apply for Greek citizenship after seven years of continuous residence.

• Citizenship Eligibility

  After seven years of residence, successful applicants are eligible to apply for Greek citizenship, provided they meet all residency requirements. Applicants must maintain their investment and fulfill other criteria during the seven-year period to be eligible for citizenship.
